We had trouble with out truck, so no pictures from the wife, but this picture was on the Little House on the Prairie website. You can see my friend, Mark Palmer, behind me. I enjoy my times demonstrating with him. Great guy.

Prairie Days – 2013
Prairie Days 2012
A good crowd gathered around the forge this weekend. Made two projects a letter opener with a gentleman, and Mark made a bracelet for one of the ladies heading up the event.
My daughter worked on her piece as well. While my son helped by allowing me to hold him while I held the piece for the gentleman to work on and assisted me in my first ever “be force fed an orange slice while smithing.”
Blacksmithing Demonstration for the Montgomery County Homeschoolers
I had an enjoyable time spending the day with the Montgomery County Homeschoolers Association’s Prairie Days and Little House on the Prairie in Independence, Kansas. Lots of cute kids in period dress and quite a few interested in hammering steel with me. We made a few S hooks for the boys to take home.
